The assumption behind using these Application Guides is that understanding is increased by knowing how to put the truths into practice and by actually putting them into practice.
The Application Guides consist of the elements you see in the example at the right. The meaning of each Review statement is developed in the following ways: (1) by having the learner Reflect on how it relates to life and ministry, (2) by illustrating it with Case Studies, (3) by sometimes asking the learner to Express in his/her own words something related to the review statement, and (4) by offering suggestions about how to Act on the truth in life and ministry.
